About Our Wines
Below are some common questions about our natural wines.
What is natural wine?
Natural wine is wine made with as little interference as possible. That means organic grapes, wild yeast, and no added chemicals. It’s wine, just more natural.
Why does natural wine taste different?
Because it's made differently! Natural wine often has more flavour, a bit of fizz, or funk, but that’s what makes it exciting.
Does natural wine give you less of a hangover?
No wine is hangover-proof, sorry! But natural wine has far fewer additives and less sugar, which might help.
Why is it cloudy?
Natural wine isn’t usually filtered, so it can look a little cloudy. That’s totally normal (and part of the charm).
Should I keep natural wine in the fridge?
White, orange and sparkling? Yes. Red? Cool and dark is best, but you can chill reds a little too!
How long does it last once opened?
Most bottles are good for 2–3 days in the fridge. Pet-nats and fizzy wines are best the same day.
What’s a pet-nat?
Pet-nat (short for pétillant naturel) is naturally sparkling wine. It’s bottled before it’s finished fermenting, so it keeps a bit of fizz. Think of it like wine’s cool cousin.
What if I don’t know anything about wine?
Perfect, you’re in the right place. We keep things simple and fun so you can learn as you go. No snobbery here.
Can I trust I’ll like it?
We only sell what we love. No duds, no fillers. If it’s in a Good Wines box, it’s been carefully chosen to be delicious, different, and worth trying.

What makes Good Wines different?
We started Good Wines because wine felt too serious. We wanted to make it more fun, more natural, and more you. No jargon. Just really Good Wines.
Do you have a shop I can visit?
Not yet — but we do pop-ups, tastings, and events around the UK. And our online shop is open 24/7 for nationwide delivery.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes, we use recyclable cardboard and eco-friendly Hex bottle holders. No plastic, no excess.
Orders, Shipping & Returns

Where do you deliver?
We currently deliver to all mainland UK addresses via APC, with secure, tracked delivery straight to your door.
How long does delivery take?
Usually 1–2 working days. You’ll get tracking info as soon as your order’s on the move.
Can I track my order?
Yep! Once your wines are dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email or text.
Do you accept returns?
We don’t accept returns on opened bottles. If there’s something wrong with your order, just get in touch and we’ll make it right.
